What is a nru file and how do I open a nru file?

The NRU file extension is known as Nero UDF CD-ROM Compilation which was developed by Nero. It is a file format associated with Nero Burning ROM, a disc burning program included with Nero Multimedia Suite. It contains a CD burning project and the data required to burn the disc in the Universal Disk Format (UDF); used for authoring CDs and DVDs.  Files in NRU format can be opened with Nero11 in Microsoft Windows platforms. To Create UDF Files using Nero Burning ROM, select Open Nero Burning ROM and click "New" on the main window. Choose a CD or DVD compilation type you wish on the pull-down menu that appears. Navigate the files to be added to the UDF in the "File Browser" pane that appears. Click and drag each file to the pane on the left to add it to the UDF. Click the "Burn" icon on the toolbar to save the image file.
