What is a dpa file and how do I open a dpa file?

A DrawPlus animation file is affixed with the .dpa extension, and these .dpa files are saved in the DPA format that was developed by Serif for one of its digital images and motion graphics development software. The DrawPlus X5 digital animation development application from Serif uses the DPA format for video files or digital motion graphics content of projects authored using the DrawPlus X5 program. This means users of computers running on Microsoft Windows-based systems and other supported operating systems can create DPA files with 2D objects and animated configurations using the DrawPlus X5 application. An author of a DPA project output file may enter stopframe animations used for flip book animated sequences in a DPA file. Keyframe animations can also be implemented by a DrawPlus user into a DPA file, and this is a series of anchor frames deployed for the generation of smooth animated transitions from one frame to the next. Support for animated visual effects and sound clips is also implemented into a DPA file's encoding and compression specifications. DPA files are also integrated with support for exporting these DPA files to a wide variety of digital animation file formats.
