format file exif

What is an exif file and how do I open an exif file?

The .exif file is mostly related to other formats like .jpg and .tif, and this file format is associated with image files. Data or image captured by the camera and then imported to the computer is usually in this file format and then later on changed into another format such as the JPEG format in order to be edited. Usually, when files are saved using the .exif extension, other pieces of information are always included, such as date and time, the camera name, settings and other details about the image. Adobe Photoshop can be used to open and view the content of these EXIF files. This software also provides a set of integrated functionalities that can allow users to make edits or modifications to these EXIF files. Adobe Photoshop can be installed in Microsoft Windows systems and Mac platforms, and this software also enables users to export these .exif files to other more widely used image file formats.
