What is a lrf file and how do I open a lrf file?

These files are generally known as eBook reading tools but when they are used by Sony Portable Reader, they are known as Sony Portable Reader Files or files that are used by Sony’s portable e-book reading device. LRF files usually contain Sony "BroadBand eBook" information and that includes texts, images, etc. These are also files that are saved in the binary format although compressed and they include a header, the index of an object as well as the object’s specified number. LRF files contain the actual e-book and since they are not encrypted files, it is possible to compile these files from LRX files. LRF files can also be converted from .HTML and .PDF formats. Aside from the Sony Portable Reader software, LRF files can also be opened with the use of the Calibre application, a program that allows users to manage e-book libraries, convert e-books, sync to e-book readers, download information online to be converted to e-books, view e-books comprehensively, etc.
