Files affixed with the .cpmz extension are classified as data files used by the Miradi software or the ConPro application, and files stored in the CMPZ format are also known as Miradi/ConPro project files. These applications are categorized as Conservation Projects Database software, developed by Benetech for providing users with a set of features helpful in facilitating data transmissions and communications between the ConPro program and the Miradi application. The content of these CMPD files  include details associated to conservation plans authored using these applications for creating and tracking the progress of these projects. Projects created and saved using the Miradi application are affixed with the .mpz extension.
