Files containing the .xfd extension are known as FormFlow 99 Form Data Files and were developed by JetForm application. The information usually contained in these files is page form elements such as text field values and names. These files are good for the storage of form data and they have the ability to be imported into PDF files. These files are considered newer and utilize a more common format than .xfdf files, although they have similarities. Adobe system applications can be used to open these .xfd files.
