format file crev

What is a crev file and how do I open a crev file?

CREV files are categorized as data files but are specifically known as Adobe Captivate commentable SWF files. These CREV files are appended with the .crev extension and are used by the Adobe Captivate 6 software from Adobe Systems. Version 6 of the Adobe Captivate software is a tool designed to offer users with a set of integrated functionalities useful for the development of digital materials embedded with interactive features. These digital materials are mostly used for eLearning platforms. Reviewable content consisting of comments about a particular SWF file can be entered and saved in the CREV format by other users of the Adobe Captivate 6 software, particularly via the Adobe Captivate Reviewer program included in this software. This provides other users with a means to inform the developers of SWF projects associated to particular CREV files comprised of these comments about their ideas for further improving and developing the content of those draft SWF materials. Microsoft Windows and Mac users can install the Adobe Captivate 6 software into their systems to access these functionalities.
