format file pvm

What is a pvm file and how do I open a pvm file?

Files in the PVM format can be opened and viewed using a Javascript Web media player integrated into HTML pages of websites and Web applications. Some PVM files can also be viewed using Web browsers integrated with playback support for standard specifications implemented by the Optical Storage Technology Association (OSTA) for such PVM files. Developed by OSTA using the standard MPV format, PVM files generally contain audio, video and other digital media content, much like MPV files. The MPV format is default standard technology comprised of a series of specifications based on the XML format. The MPV format was developed for seamlessly facilitating data processing and playback of digital images, videos and audio content using computers and a wide variety of devices that can be used to view content stored in DVDs, CDs and internal or external data storage gadgets like hard disks and memory cards. MPV technology was developed by various supporters of OSTA's objectives, and with the creation of PVM file format technology, the efficiency of MPV standards was improved in terms of viewing digital audio, video and images stored in resources on the Internet with the use of compatible Web browsers. The set of specifications based on XML technology contained in PVM files can be interpreted by a compatible Javascript audio and video player found in an HTML page. The HTML page with the Javascript player and the PVM content are all stored in the PVM file.
